Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor in cotton/sorghum fields including planting, cultivating, and harvesting
- Operate farm machinery (tractors, harvesters) with proper training
- Apply pesticides and fertilizers according to safety protocols
- Inspect crops for pests/diseases and report findings
- Maintain farm equipment and assist with irrigation systems
- Adhere to all H2A program requirements and safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa sponsorship eligibility required
- Minimum 6 months of prior agricultural experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic English communication skills
- Valid driver's license (preferred)
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
- Pass pre-employment physical examination
