Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest specialty crops (grapes, almonds, tomatoes)
- Operate farm machinery (tractors, harvesters) safely and efficiently
- Perform crop maintenance tasks (pruning, irrigation, pest control)
- Inspect crops for quality and readiness for harvest
- Work in diverse weather conditions including heat and humidity
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Assist with packing, sorting, and loading harvested produce
Qualifications
- Must be eligible for H2A visa sponsorship (foreign national)
- Minimum 6 months verifiable farmwork experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 10+ hours
- Basic English communication skills for safety instructions
- Valid passport and clean criminal background check
- Willingness to work weekends/holidays during peak season
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical examination
