Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest seasonal crops including tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers
- Operate farm machinery including tractors, cultivators, and irrigation systems
- Monitor crop health and apply pest control measures under supervision
- Perform manual labor including weeding, pruning, and field maintenance
- Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards during all operations
- Assist with packing and sorting harvested produce for shipment
- Maintain accurate records of field activities and yield data
Qualifications
- Valid H2A certification or eligibility to obtain through program
- Minimum 6 months prior agricultural/farming experience
- Ability to work 40-50 hours weekly in outdoor conditions
- Basic English communication skills for team coordination
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ pounds and perform repetitive tasks
- Valid driver's license (preferred for equipment operation)
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends during peak seasons
- Clean background check and drug screening required
