Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor duties including planting, weeding, and harvesting seasonal crops in a fast-paced field environment.
- Operate and maintain agricultural machinery, such as tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems.
- Ensure strict adherence to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols on the job site.
- Monitor crop health and assist in applying fertilizers or pesticides as directed by agronomists.
- Collaborate with crew leads to optimize field workflows and production targets.
- Assist in the packing, sorting, and loading of produce for distribution to local markets.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and report maintenance needs immediately.
Qualifications
- Must be eligible for H2A visa sponsorship or possess a valid US work visa.
- Valid Driverβs License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) for extended periods.
- Experience in farming, labor, or agricultural operations is highly preferred.
- Physically fit and capable of working in varying weather conditions (heat, rain, humidity).
- Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively within a team structure.
- Must be available to work seasonal hours, typically May through October.
