Responsibilities
- Planting & Harvesting: Execute manual labor tasks including planting, weeding, irrigating, and harvesting crops according to seasonal schedules.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate tractors, loaders, and other agricultural machinery under supervision.
- Quality Control: Inspect crops for quality and ensure produce meets industry standards before packing or transport.
- Logistics: Assist in loading and unloading trucks, staging materials, and maintaining efficient workflow.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations, farm protocols, and H2A program requirements.
- Maintenance: Perform basic upkeep on tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure a productive environment.
Qualifications
- Physical Fitness: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs), and work in various weather conditions.
- Experience: Prior experience in farming, agriculture, or manual labor is preferred but not always required (training provided).
- Driver's License: Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to the worksite.
- Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime during peak seasons.
- Communication: Ability to follow instructions from supervisors and work effectively within a team.
