- Partner with R&D teams to align emerging tech investments with market disruption timelines
- Author quarterly 'Future Pulse' reports for executive board and investor briefings
- Establish global network of futurists, academic institutions, and policy think tanks
- Design corporate resilience frameworks for systemic risks (climate, supply chain, geopolitical)
- Mentor innovation teams in speculative design and strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning with 5+ years in technology foresight or innovation strategy
- Proven track record publishing future-focused thought leadership (Forbes/MIT Tech Review/HBR)
- Expertise in emerging tech: quantum computing, AGI governance, synthetic biology
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., AC/FS, WFS) or advanced degree in Futures Studies
- Experience leading global innovation initiatives at Fortune 500 scale
- Mastery of scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Cross-Impact Matrix)
- Exceptional storytelling skills translating complex futures into actionable strategy
