Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech/socioeconomic trends to map 3-5 year innovation horizons
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable R&D initiatives
- Partner with C-suite to future-proof product portfolios and market positioning
- Author trend reports and scenario plans for board-level strategic decisions
- Represent the company at global innovation forums and thought leadership events
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategy, R&D, or futurist consulting with tech focus
- Proven track record of forecasting market shifts (portfolio examples required)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AGI, etc.)
- MBA or advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology, or Business
- Exceptional data synthesis and scenario modeling capabilities
- Published thought leader with 50+ speaking engagements
- Experience scaling innovation from concept to commercialization
