Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 2026-2030 strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in AI ethics, climate tech, and human augmentation
- Produce quarterly Future Impact Reports with actionable recommendations for executive leadership
- Manage a $5M innovation portfolio, evaluating early-stage ventures and emerging technologies
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and other futurist thought leaders
- Present strategic insights at industry conferences and publish thought leadership pieces
- Mentor innovation specialists in futures research methodologies and strategic foresight tools
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or technology consulting
- Proven track record of developing and implementing long-term strategic roadmaps
- Expertise in emerging technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology) and their societal implications
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS or Foresight Practitioners Network)
- Exceptional data visualization skills with proficiency in foresight software (e.g., Scenarios, Polaris)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in tech, biotech, or aerospace sectors
- Published work in futures journals or major industry publications
- PhD or Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technical field
