Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging domains including quantum cryptography and decentralized AI
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions with 20+ industry partners
- Establish ethical frameworks for AI deployment and quantum algorithm governance
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D funding through federal grants and private partnerships
- Present strategic technology forecasts to C-suite executives and board members quarterly
- Mentor a team of 12+ researchers and engineers in cutting-edge methodologies
- Drive patent portfolio expansion with 15+ new IP filings annually
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field with 10+ years of industry experience
- Proven track record of scaling technology initiatives from concept to commercial deployment
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or generative AI
- Demonstrated success securing federal SBIR/STTR grants and venture capital funding
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.) or equivalent industry impact
- Experience building and leading diverse technical teams of 15+ professionals
- Deep understanding of global tech policy landscapes and regulatory frameworks
