Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging sectors including AI ethics, biotech convergence, and climate tech
- Lead cross-disciplinary innovation sprints with engineers, designers, and domain experts
- Identify and evaluate disruptive startups for strategic partnerships or acquisition
- Present future scenarios to C-suite executives and board members for decision-making
- Secure $10M+ annual R&D funding through compelling innovation proposals
- Mentor a team of 15 futurists and technology scouts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation management at Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Proven track record of launching at least two market-defining technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, neurotech, synthetic biology)
- Executive presence with experience pitching to VCs and government agencies
- Published author or speaker at global tech summits (TED, Web Summit, etc.)
