Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care across diverse medical units including ER, ICU, and general wards
- Administer medications, treatments, and specialized nursing interventions per protocols
- Document patient assessments, progress, and care plans using electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and care coordination
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease management strategies
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and safety compliance
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and hospital infection control standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California or eligibility for compact state licensure
- BSN degree required; MSN or specialty certifications preferred
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- BLS/ACLS certifications required; PALS or TNCC preferred
