Responsibilities
- Lead month-end/year-end closing processes and financial reporting
- Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP/SOX
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and drive strategic decisions
- Manage accounting operations including AP/AR, payroll, and tax compliance
- Present financial insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Optimize financial systems and processes for scalability
- Mentor finance team members and foster professional development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA required
- 8+ years progressive accounting experience with 3+ in leadership
- Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience in financial services or fintech preferred
