Responsibilities
- Operate company-provided heavy-duty vehicles and specialized rigging equipment to transport industrial machinery and office assets.
- Secure cargo using straps, chains, and pads to ensure zero damage during transit.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards.
- Collaborate with logistics coordinators to map out efficient routes and loading plans.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients regarding delivery schedules and handling procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class B CDL preferred but not strictly required for all roles).
- Proven experience in commercial moving, logistics, or equipment hauling.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 75 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of rigging and load securing techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret shipping documents and route maps.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
