Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain farm machinery including tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest seasonal crops (vegetables, grains, or fruits)
- Monitor crop health and apply pest control measures following safety protocols
- Perform field maintenance including irrigation setup, soil preparation, and weed control
- Adhere to all safety regulations and H2A program compliance standards
- Collaborate with supervisors to meet production targets and quality standards
- Document daily activities and report equipment issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa sponsorship eligibility required
- Minimum 2 years of commercial farming experience
- Ability to operate farm machinery (tractor certification a plus)
- Physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Basic English communication skills
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Willingness to work extended hours during peak seasons
