Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and stage products for shipping and receiving using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Inventory Management: Accurately pick, pack, and scan items to maintain inventory accuracy and reduce shrinkage.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections on powered industrial trucks (PIT) and reporting any mechanical issues immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a zero-incident workplace.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse floor organized, clean, and free of hazards to ensure efficient workflow.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and supervisors to coordinate daily tasks and meet production quotas.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old to operate heavy machinery.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required; we provide paid training.
- Documentation: Valid Driver’s License and Social Security Card required for employment verification.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain high standards of accuracy.
- Availability: Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
