Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care to patients including assistance with mobility, hygiene, and daily living activities
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff promptly
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as required
- Maintain accurate patient records and care documentation
- Support infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Adhere to all company policies and healthcare regulations
Qualifications
- Valid UK Certificate in Healthcare Assistance or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 6 months of recent healthcare support experience
- Up-to-date Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proof of right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Attention to detail and excellent observational abilities
