Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops such as corn, soybeans, and vegetables.
- Operate farm machinery and tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Maintain field cleanliness by removing weeds and debris to ensure optimal growing conditions.
- Follow all safety protocols and pesticide application guidelines to ensure worker and consumer safety.
- Load, unload, and sort harvested goods for transport to packing houses or distribution centers.
- Collaborate with the farm crew to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Must be eligible for or currently holding an H2A Visa (or eligible for sponsorship).
- Physically fit and capable of performing strenuous outdoor labor for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of agriculture or farming operations is a plus.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends, depending on harvest cycles.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
