Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest seasonal crops including cotton, chili peppers, and vegetables
- Operate farm machinery (tractors, harvesters, irrigation systems)
- Apply pesticides and fertilizers following strict safety protocols
- Perform field maintenance (weeding, pruning, irrigation management)
- Inspect crops for quality and readiness for harvest
- Maintain farm equipment and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to all USDA safety and labor regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of prior agricultural/farming experience
- Physical ability to perform strenuous outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Basic English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Valid passport and eligibility for H2A visa sponsorship
- Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons (10-12 hour shifts)
- Willingness to live on-site provided housing (shared accommodations)
- No criminal record (background check required)
