Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including planting, cultivating, harvesting, and packing of crops
- Operate and maintain farm equipment (tractors, irrigation systems, harvesters)
- Apply pesticides and fertilizers following strict safety protocols
- Inspect crops for quality and readiness for harvest
- Maintain field cleanliness and proper storage of harvested produce
- Assist with irrigation system setup and monitoring
- Follow all USDA and OSHA safety guidelines
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable agricultural experience
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor conditions
- Valid passport and eligibility for H2A visa program
- Basic English communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends during peak season
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Clean background check and drug-free certification
- Completion of required pesticide safety training (provided if needed)
