Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest seasonal crops including cotton, soybeans, and corn using manual and mechanical methods
- Operate and maintain farm equipment including tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems
- Apply pesticides and fertilizers according to safety protocols and EPA regulations
- Monitor crop health and report pest/disease issues to farm supervisors
- Perform irrigation management and water distribution system maintenance
- Assist in packing, sorting, and preparing harvested produce for shipment
- Adhere to all H2A program requirements and workplace safety standards
Qualifications
- Previous agricultural experience preferred but not required – we provide comprehensive training
- Physically capable of performing strenuous outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Valid H2A visa sponsorship eligibility (we assist with visa processing)
- Ability to follow instructions precisely and work both independently and in teams
- Basic English communication skills (Spanish speakers welcome)
- Willingness to work extended hours during peak harvest seasons
- Reliable transportation to farm location (shuttle service available from Memphis)
