Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest seasonal crops (corn, soybeans, vegetables)
- Operate farm machinery (tractors, harvesters) with proper training
- Maintain irrigation systems and field cleanliness
- Inspect crops for quality and pest/disease prevention
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Assist with packing and loading produce for distribution
- Participate in weekly farm maintenance activities
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa sponsorship eligibility required
- Minimum 1 year prior agricultural experience
- Ability to work 6-8 hours/day in outdoor conditions
- Basic English communication skills
- Willingness to work weekends during peak harvest season
- Physical stamina for repetitive bending/lifting (up to 50 lbs)
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Pass background check and drug screening
