Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ strategic roadmaps aligning with emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AGI, bio-digital convergence)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and design teams to prototype future-facing solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across 15+ industries to identify disruptive opportunities
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global tech forums
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Design ethical frameworks for next-gen AI and autonomous systems deployment
- Mentor junior futurists and build a future-ready talent pipeline
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or emerging technology leadership
- Proven track record of implementing future-vision strategies with measurable ROI
- Deep expertise in at least three of: AI governance, climate tech, neurotech, or space commercialization
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Published author in peer-reviewed futurism journals or industry whitepapers
- Fluency in strategic scenario planning tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Experience securing $1M+ innovation budgets and managing distributed R&D teams
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ implemented future-vision initiatives with global impact
