Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze disruptive trends impacting 2026 business landscapes across tech, climate, and societal domains
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for enterprise adaptation to future disruptions
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable innovation roadmaps
- Author quarterly horizon scanning reports with quantified impact assessments
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-state solutions using emerging technologies
- Advise executive leadership on long-term positioning in volatile markets
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and systems thinking
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFPC, APF) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating published future-state analyses or innovation frameworks
