- Manage electronic health records (EHR) documentation accurately
- Administer injections and medications under provider supervision
- Coordinate patient scheduling and follow-up communications
- Maintain sterile exam environments and inventory control
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Active NY Medical Assistant certification (MA or CMA)
- Minimum 6 months clinical experience in ambulatory setting
- BLS/CPR certification from recognized provider
- Proficiency with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Athenahealth)
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Flexibility to cover weekday shifts (Monday-Friday 8AM-6PM)
- Fluency in English with Spanish proficiency preferred
