Responsibilities
- Provide critical care to emergency patients using evidence-based protocols
- Assess, diagnose, and implement treatment plans in high-pressure situations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Supervise LPNs and nursing assistants during shifts
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Respond to mass casualty incidents and trauma activations
Qualifications
- Active Texas RN license (required)
- Minimum 2 years ER/trauma experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications
- BSN degree or higher preferred
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Spanish bilingual proficiency highly desirable
- Experience with Epic EMR system
