Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake procedures including vital signs and medical history documentation
- Assist physicians with examinations, treatments, and minor medical procedures
- Draw blood samples and perform basic laboratory tests
- Manage patient scheduling and maintain accurate electronic health records
- Ensure clinic cleanliness and proper sterilization of equipment
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and medication protocols
- Inventory medical supplies and assist with procurement processes
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in outpatient setting
- Active BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic or NextGen preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Georgia state medical assistant license (if applicable)
- Background check and drug screen clearance
