Responsibilities
- Harrow, plant, irrigate, and cultivate row crops (vegetables, fruits)
- Operate farm machinery (tractors, harvesters) with proper safety protocols
- Inspect crops for pests/diseases and apply integrated pest management
- Hand-harvest produce according to quality and ripeness standards
- Package, label, and load harvested goods for shipment
- Maintain field sanitation and equipment cleanliness
- Follow all H2A program guidelines and employer requirements
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa sponsorship eligibility (foreign worker)
- Basic agricultural experience or willingness to learn farming techniques
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor conditions
- Compliance with drug-free workplace policy
- Valid government-issued photo ID and work authorization documents
- Ability to work 45-60 hours weekly, including weekends
