Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including planting, cultivating, and harvesting various crops.
- Operate agricultural machinery and heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload produce, materials, and supplies from trucks and storage areas.
- Maintain farm hygiene by cleaning workstations and equipment regularly.
- Follow strict safety guidelines and OSHA regulations to prevent workplace accidents.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and quotas.
- Monitor crop health and report any abnormalities to farm supervisors immediately.
Qualifications
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, rain, humidity).
- Physically fit and capable of standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, nights, and weekends.
- Valid identification documents for H2A compliance.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Durham work site.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
