Responsibilities
- Operational Efficiency: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move, locate, and relocate stock.
- Inventory Management: Perform daily cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records within the warehouse management system.
- Shipping & Receiving: Process inbound and outbound shipments, verifying contents against bills of lading, and ensuring proper documentation.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies, including proper lifting techniques and equipment maintenance checks.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with a focus on accuracy and speed to meet customer deadlines.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area to prevent accidents and improve workflow.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred; forklift certification is a plus.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (Weekend Shift).
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and basic computer literacy.
- License: Valid driver's license (Class C).
