As a Weekend Support Specialist, you will be the first line of defense for our clients during critical off-hours. You will ensure seamless service delivery, maintain high customer satisfaction scores, and collaborate with the weekday team to drive operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support to end-users via phone, email, and remote desktop tools during weekend shifts.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues efficiently.
- Log and manage all technical tickets in the helpdesk system, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Perform routine system maintenance, security updates, and backups to ensure system integrity.
- Collaborate with the weekday support team to escalate complex issues and share weekend insights.
- Conduct training sessions for new weekend staff to ensure consistency in service delivery.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in technical support, help desk, or customer service.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows, macOS, Microsoft Office Suite, and common business applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Must be available to work rotating weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday) and holidays as required.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
