Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight: Manage and monitor all production activities during the weekend shift to ensure targets and deadlines are met with precision.
- Team Leadership: Mentor, train, and motivate a diverse team of operators and technicians, fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations and internal safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, oversee raw material usage, and coordinate with the logistics team to ensure accurate inventory tracking.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality checks on finished goods and implement corrective actions to maintain high production standards.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit daily/weekly shift reports to senior management, highlighting productivity metrics and potential operational bottlenecks.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or lead role within a manufacturing, logistics, or warehouse environment.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain operations, and quality control standards.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to provide clear instructions to a multi-functional team.
- Availability: Must be available to work a full-time schedule, primarily on weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Forklift Certification: Valid forklift certification is preferred.
- Problem Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot operational issues quickly and implement effective solutions.
