Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital sign monitoring and specimen collection
- Assist with mobility support and activities of daily living
- Accurately document patient observations in electronic health records
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans
- Maintain clean and organized patient environments
- Respond to patient call bells promptly and professionally
- Support patient education under nurse supervision
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Patient Care Technician (PCT) certification
- Minimum 6 months acute care or hospital experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer literacy for documentation systems
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts)
