Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including vital signs, EKGs, and patient preparation
- Assist providers with examinations and minor procedures
- Manage electronic health records with precision and confidentiality
- Administer injections and medications as per protocols
- Coordinate patient flow and maintain exam room readiness
- Handle patient scheduling and insurance verification
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
- Collaborate with weekend nursing and administrative teams
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory care
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong Spanish language skills (bilingual preferred)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility for rotating weekend shifts (Sat/Sun 7am-7pm)
- Valid Florida driver's license for potential travel
