Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care during weekend shifts (Sat/Sun, 6AM-6PM)
- Assist physicians with examinations, procedures, and medical documentation
- Administer medications and injections following protocol
- Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and basic lab procedures
- Manage patient flow and ensure clinic cleanliness standards
- Coordinate with on-call physicians for urgent patient matters
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
Qualifications
- Active California Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in outpatient setting
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA compliance
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficient in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Weekend availability mandatory
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
