Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital sign monitoring and wound care
- Assist nurses with medical procedures and documentation
- Transport patients safely using proper equipment protocols
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control standards
- Respond to patient call lights promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
- Perform EKGs and basic phlebotomy procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or EMT certification
- BLS/CPR certification required
- 1+ years of clinical experience preferred
- Ability to work independently on weekend shifts
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer proficiency for medical records
- Flexibility to cover rotating weekend schedules
