Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient appointments and manage weekend scheduling systems
- Provide compassionate patient intake and triage services
- Assist with medical record documentation and data entry
- Collaborate with on-call physicians and emergency response teams
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and weekend pharmacy coordination
- Deliver patient education materials and follow-up communications
- Maintain HIPAA compliance for all weekend patient interactions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year healthcare coordination experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations
- Weekend availability mandatory (Saturday/Sunday 7am-7pm)
- Bilingual Spanish/English highly desirable
