Responsibilities
- Perform vital sign assessments and patient intake procedures during weekend clinic hours
- Assist physicians with examinations, injections, and minor medical procedures
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and patient documentation
- Coordinate weekend patient flow and appointment scheduling
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical equipment
- Administer medications and perform basic laboratory tests
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA) required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care setting
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts 7am-7pm)
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic experience preferred)
- Strong communication skills with diverse patient populations
- BLS/CPR certification maintained throughout employment
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced weekend clinic environment
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and medical protocols
