Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Take vital signs and prepare patients for consultations
- Perform basic laboratory tests and specimen collection
- Manage electronic health records and patient documentation
- Administer medications under physician supervision
- Coordinate patient education and discharge planning
- Maintain sterile exam environments and medical supplies
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification or relevant education
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to cover weekend shifts (6AM-6PM)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly valued
