Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient intake and appointment scheduling for weekend clinic operations
- Assist with patient registration, insurance verification, and medical documentation
- Provide compassionate patient support and address weekend-specific inquiries
- Collaborate with on-call physicians to ensure seamless weekend care delivery
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality
- Support weekend triage and urgent care protocols
- Prepare weekend patient reports for weekday handover
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in patient care coordination or medical support
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, or similar)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Basic medical terminology knowledge required
- Valid CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Availability for consistent weekend shifts (Sat/Sun, 6am-6pm)
