Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient admissions, discharges, and transfers with precision
- Manage electronic health records and maintain accurate documentation
- Assist with clinical procedures under provider supervision
- Provide compassionate patient education and support
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated care
- Handle weekend staffing and resource allocation efficiently
- Uphold strict HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in healthcare or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1+ years of clinical or patient-facing healthcare experience
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or EMT preferred
- Strong proficiency with EHR systems (Epic experience a plus)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced weekend environments
- Valid CPR certification
- Flexibility to cover occasional holiday shifts as needed
