Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and mobility assistance
- Document patient observations and care activities in electronic health records with precision
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate seamless care transitions
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism and established protocols
- Maintain clean, organized patient environments and equipment functionality
- Support patient education and discharge planning processes
Qualifications
- Active Maryland CNA or Medical Assistant certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in acute care or long-term setting
- BLS/CPR certification (AHA preferred)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with sound clinical judgment
- Flexibility to rotate between weekend day/evening shifts
- Proficient with EHR systems and medical documentation
