In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing warehouse workflows, ensuring safety standards are met, and leading a team of dedicated associates.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and order fulfillment.
- Manage inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and minimizing shrinkage through cycle counting.
- Enforce strict safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment for all employees.
- Lead, train, and mentor a diverse team of warehouse staff to maximize productivity and morale.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement process improvements and operational strategies.
- Monitor performance metrics (KPIs) such as order accuracy, cycle time, and labor productivity.
- Handle logistics coordination and resolve operational issues efficiently.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics operations.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, WMS, Oracle).
- Proven leadership experience with a track record of improving operational efficiency.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Forklift certification and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs is required.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
