Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload shipments from trucks and pallets using forklifts and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, verify incoming goods against invoices, and ensure accurate data entry.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment to prevent accidents and improve efficiency.
- Package Preparation: Properly label, pack, and prepare orders for shipping to ensure timely delivery.
- Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse machinery and tools according to safety protocols.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies immediately to the shift supervisor.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred, but a degree is not required.
- Language: Basic English reading and writing skills are necessary for safety instructions and documentation.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, reliable, and able to work well within a team.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Availability: Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
