Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest tropical crops (papaya, mango, and leafy greens)
- Operate farm machinery including tractors and irrigation systems
- Maintain crop health through pruning, fertilizing, and pest management
- Adhere to USDA organic certification standards and safety protocols
- Assist with post-harvest processing and packing operations
- Participate in team-based farm maintenance activities
- Complete daily production reports for farm management
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa sponsorship eligibility
- Minimum 1 year commercial farming experience
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in tropical conditions
- Basic English communication skills
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
- Clean background check and drug-free certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
