Responsibilities
- Perform manual crop harvesting operations including picking, sorting, and packing
- Operate and maintain agricultural machinery (tractors, harvesters, irrigation systems)
- Apply pesticides and fertilizers following strict safety protocols
- Monitor crop health and report issues to farm supervisors
- Assist with planting, transplanting, and field maintenance tasks
- Adhere to all USDA and OSHA safety standards
- Participate in seasonal crop rotation and soil preparation
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa sponsorship eligibility (foreign passport required)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable experience in commercial agriculture
- Ability to work 10-12 hour days in outdoor conditions (heat, rain, cold)
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Basic English communication skills for safety instructions
- Valid driver's license preferred (not required)
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays during peak seasons
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
