Responsibilities
- Harvest Operations: Gently harvest fruits and vegetables (e.g., avocados, citrus, tomatoes) to ensure maximum quality and yield.
- Crop Maintenance: Assist in planting, weeding, pruning, and maintaining fields to ensure optimal growth conditions.
- Packing & Sorting: Perform quality control checks and pack produce for shipment according to strict industry standards.
- Equipment Handling: Safely operate hand tools, tractors, and light farm machinery under supervision.
- Field Management: Follow safety protocols and supervisor instructions to maintain a productive and safe work environment.
- Logistics Support: Assist in loading trucks and organizing storage areas.
Qualifications
- Visa Eligibility: Must currently hold or be eligible for H2A Visa status.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, bend, lift, and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Outdoor Endurance: Comfortable working in various weather conditions, including heat and direct sunlight.
- Communication: Basic English communication skills are preferred for safety and coordination.
- Experience: Previous experience in farming, agriculture, or general labor is a plus but not required.
