Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain agricultural machinery including tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems
- Perform manual labor duties: planting, pruning, thinning, and harvesting specialty crops
- Apply pesticides and fertilizers following strict safety protocols and EPA guidelines
- Monitor crop health and report pest/disease issues to farm supervisors
- Assist with post-harvest handling including sorting, packing, and loading
- Maintain accurate field records and safety documentation
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa sponsorship eligibility required
- Minimum 2 years verifiable farm experience with row crops
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work 10+ hour days in outdoor conditions
- Basic English proficiency for safety training and equipment operation
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Pesticide applicator certification preferred
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
