Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest seasonal crops including vegetables and fruits
- Operate and maintain farm machinery (tractors, harvesters, irrigation systems)
- Apply pesticides and fertilizers following strict safety protocols
- Monitor crop health and report pest/disease issues to supervisors
- Assist with packing, sorting, and loading of harvested produce
- Maintain farm cleanliness and equipment sanitation standards
- Participate in irrigation system setup and maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa sponsorship eligibility required
- Minimum 6 months of prior agricultural experience
- Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor conditions (heat, humidity)
- Basic English communication skills
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
- Clean background check and drug-free certification
