Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops according to seasonal schedules.
- Operate and maintain agricultural machinery and farm equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect fields for pests, diseases, and weeds, and apply treatments as necessary.
- Assist in the packing, sorting, and loading of harvested produce for distribution.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and adhere to USDA safety standards.
- Work cooperatively within a team to meet daily production targets and quotas.
- Perform basic maintenance on tools and irrigation systems.
Qualifications
- Valid H2A Visa or legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Previous experience in agriculture, farming, or farm labor is preferred.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of English for safety communication and instructions.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and rain.
