Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations, procedures, and minor treatments
- Perform vital sign monitoring, EKGs, and phlebotomy services
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical equipment
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Coordinate with nursing staff during emergency situations
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in urgent care or hospital setting
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic/NextGen preferred)
- Strong venipuncture and injection skills
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
- Excellent communication in English/Spanish (bilingual a plus)
- Flexible availability for rotating night schedules
